The eighth meeting of the EU-Ukraine Association Council was held in Brussels and was co-chaired by the Ukrainian Prime Minister, Denys Shmyhal, and the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Josep Borrell. It was the first session since Ukraine was granted the status of EU candidate country.
