Asylum and migration: Council approves negotiating mandates on Eurodac and screening regulations and 21 states adopt a declaration on solidarity

The Permanent Representatives Committee (Coreper) adopted some important first-stage texts on asylum and migration, based on the proposals presented by the Commission in the framework of the Pact on Migration and Asylum.
